Another thing I noticed - she grabs his hair in both gifs. And he pulls up and away from the kiss in both gifs as if he wants to keep kissing her but can’t.

They don’t have quite the same steam as the kiss they had in Broken, but I’m still pretty damn satisfied :D

They wouldn’t have the same steam as Broken, would they? In Broken it was we can be together and there’ll be time for everything and here it’s I’m sorry, I didn’t want to wake you up to die and son is dead and I’m going off to face my undoing to honor him. The Broken kiss was all about promise and possibility while these kisses were about goodbyes and the end of the world.

We spend so much time praising Bobby for his choices and his subtleties. Let’s take a minute and appreciate them here. I think he and Emilie were spot on… especially that last kiss. It was just perfection for me… and here’s the point where I warn you about how much I am gonna be reblogging these gifs, like all summer.
